The nose on the stock C6 really doesn't do anything for me. Needs a scoop and a better hood.
![]() 11/12/2014 at 19:56 |

Yes scoop, no to that hood. This is the hood it needs
Along with the LS9 under it

God damn.

I can agree on the hood, I didn't mean it needed that specific hood, just a better one than the flat boring stock one. I don't mind it though, but everyone has their preferences.
I could go for a ZR1 though. There's a few by me. You know what color they look really good in? White.

Indeed. I don't need a house, right?! RIGHT?!

I'm playing around with usernames. I'll settle on one someday

No just a single wide trailer with a pole barn with a full shop and plenty of space.
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:01 |

You don't. Just rent or something!
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:01 |

Strip pole barn also.

I rent already. I actually like my place, but when I go to someone's house it makes me want one. Gotta stick to the plan: house next summer, Corvette in 2016

I couldn't find anything THAT special at any of my local CarMaxes, but I managed to find this lowered Range Rover. Hopefully the next owner gets an extended warranty à la DeMuro.

Just reverse the order :P
Good thing is that they'll probably be a bit cheaper in 2016 once the C7 stews around for a while.

If I could find a place with a loft in a big garage I'd be all over it

My hope is to pay cash or a massive down payment towards a clean 2001 or newer C5. Figure sub-$15,000 by then

Fuck yeah they do. Local carmax still has the one I drove. I want one someday...no, I need one someday

I technically could afford a C6 atm... but I also shouldn't financially.
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:17 |

There's a ZR-1 here too
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:17 |

Try a Z06 C5, those looked awesome! I've secretly wanted one for ages.
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:24 |

The ZR-1 is a cool car and all, but I don't really care for it that much anymore. I loved it when it was new, but it has become blasé to me over the past 3 years or so.

Perfect bachelor pad. Just enough living space. BIG space for cars and etc.
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:35 |

Blasé? A 640 hp sports car is blasé? Wutchu smokin?!

I don't like the FRC body. I'd rather have a coupe
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:38 |
|
I honestly also prefer the coupe more, but can't resist a Z06.
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:38 |

It's not like they're unreliable.
Had I been wise to the way of the Vette and the Manual transmission a year ago I'd have some form of Corvette by now. I'm new to the Corvette fanboyism
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:41 |

I need to drive one, it might win me over. I doubt it though, the versatility of the coupe is too good

Corvettes have always been my passion. They are an amazing value.
I have college loans unfortunately and would rather save more than I would if I had a payment for a car.
A couple years...
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:44 |

Yup, the coupe also has a pretty surprising amount of space in the hatch.

I'm thinking of downsizing my RC fleet and going back to small airplanes. I tell people it's because the big planes are a pain to get set up (somewhat true) but really it's because little ones will fit in a Corvette.
Every now and then I consider trading the Sonic for a Vette, but I cant. I like it too much. I've been meaning to write an article about how hot hatches just make you love them.

It's kick-ass awesome, but I personally prefer the SRT Viper. I've seen enough of them on the streets on a weekly basis that they've become pretty ordinary for what they are. I still enjoy seeing ZR-1s, but I don't really lust after it like my 10 year old self did when the ZR-1 was launched in 2008.
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:52 |

You should write that article! I'd definitely be interested in reading it.
You probably could get a pretty good C5 trade for the Sonic though, Haha.

If I didn't owe so much on the Sonic...
I might write it while I'm home over thanksgiving
![]() 11/12/2014 at 20:57 |

Ah, Gotcha.
They also seem to be pretty reliable, those Corvettes. I don't hear much about them breaking often.
![]() 11/12/2014 at 21:00 |

Yep. All the more reason I want one.

Low maintenance, high performance, and killer looks. Left quite an impression on me. I will own one some day.
